JOB DESCRIPTION
Learning repair techniques under the supervision of the Mechanic.
Assisting Mechanics in repairing, overhauling and etc.
Following company-created checklists to inspect and test vehicles.
Performing standard mechanical repairs.
Writing labor, time, and parts cost estimates.
Testing vehicles before and after repair procedures.
Taking engines and other car parts apart to perform inspections.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Must be an Automotive Mechanical Assembly or Automotive Servicing Intern
Strong understanding of mechanics.
Ability to read and analyze manuals and technical information
Must have a valid driver's license and be familiar with both manual and automatic transmission types
Physical fitness and stamina to stoop, crawl, work laying down, and lift heavy machinery
Ability to work well with your hands
Ability to work well with tools
Troubleshooting skills
Problem solving skills
Good analytical skills
Well organized and patient
