The automation test lead needs to be detailed-oriented and able to execute and drive a Quality Program. This role is intended to help software development teams achieve their goals as high performing software development teams, creating a culture of self-organization and continued improvement, consistent delivery of a shippable product, and provide a leader for Agile projects. The lead ensures clear communication and organization of the team, and driving the testing team members in all aspects of the standard Agile/Scrum testing process. We are seeking a candidate who has proven servant leadership skills, the ability to think critically and problem-solve, influence and a track-record of ensuring project milestones and deadlines are met. Your future duties and responsibilities: . Act as a test lead to our automation testing team . Through coaching and facilitation, ensure the team follows agile processes (e.g. self-directed problem solvers) and ceremonies (Daily Standups, Estimation, Sprint Planning, Retrospective, and refinement & Review/Demo). . Oversee design, implementation, of the QA Engineering set-up . Help team set realistic objectives for Feature and Sprint delivery timeframes . Shape team behavior through excellent management via the agile method . Keeps external stakeholders, collaborates, and other interested parties are well-informed on team progress and activities. . Remove blockers and impediments for team. . Build strong relationships with stakeholders, application users, and program owners . Document progress and communicate to upper management and stakeholders . Take responsibility for successful product delivery . Assist the product owner with keeping the backlog groomed . Maintain relevant metrics that help the team see how they are doing. Required qualifications to be successful in this role: . Demonstrated in Cloud/AWS, Python Programming, ETL data and analytics, automated testing tools in an Agile/Scrum Environment Methodologies . Working on Waterfall/SDLC to Agile Scrum projects would be highly desirable . Life Science Experience would be ideal but will look at other sectors . Minimum 3 years or experience as acting Scrum Master. . Involved in the design, development, and execution of functional and regression tests used to measure correctness, robustness, performance, and overall quality . Collaborated with senior software engineers, quality assurance specialists, and product owners to deliver timely product releases that met customer's needs. . Developed procedures and tools needed to improve the QA process and assisted the Product team to make design trade-offs and risk analysis assessments . Implemented test automation, leveraging test automation frameworks while driving processes to reduce manual test coverage . Partnered with product owners and developers to plan out the best testing strategy. . Knowledge on facilitating sessions and workshops . Collaborated with and lead QA teams in analyzed non-functional requirements and technical designs, translated functional requirements into test cases, and identified defects and provided appropriate resolution . Designed and built the automation framework using Robot Framework (Python) managed CI/CD operations to run automation in the cloud using Jenkins and Amazon web services (AWS). . Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and meeting facilitation skills . Automation & Testing Tools - Selenium ALM QTP . Python Programming Required . Knowledge of Cloud AWS . Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills . Expert in managing multiple stakeholders .
