JOB DESCRIPTION:
This role requires strong PLC, controls, and electrical ability. This Engineer/Technician will be responsible for implementing PLC and HMI/SCADA designs and programming.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design, develop, maintain, document, troubleshoot, and debug PLC and HMI software.
Collaborate with the plant's engineering groups to facilitate a Systems Engineering approach to the plant and machine design.
QUALIFICATIONS:
PLC software experience
Electrical and control experience .
Ability to write, understand, and troubleshoot PLC software in ladder, function chart, structured text, or sequential function languages.
Ability to read, understand, and create electrical and control schematics.
Understanding of process and machine control.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
2-3 years of PLC programming experience
2-3 years of HMI/SCADA design experience Knowledge of common industrial
Ability to read Process & Instrumentation drawings (P&IDs.)
Ability to read electrical diagrams.
Ability to read logic diagrams.
Ability to diagram using CAD software.
Strong electrical & mechanical troubleshooting skills.
Strong technical writing and communication skills.
Team player who can adapt well to engineering standards.
