This is an exciting full-time opportunity to work in a fast-paced team environment supporting one of the largest leaders in the pharmaceutical industry. Position can be done from the following locations: Belton, Texas, Lafayette, Louisiana, Knoxville, Tennessee, Wausau, Wisconsin, Waterville, Maine, Lebanon, Virginia & Troy, Alabama. Your future duties and responsibilities: As an Automation Analyst / Test Engineer, you will act as a key participant in application analysis, test strategy development, test execution, defect tracking, and reporting. The candidate must have demonstrated experience in Project and Test Management, an understanding of best practices, SDLC Scrum and Agile methodologies, as well as strong problem-solving abilities and leadership skills. . Interacting with the IT and Business Teams by actively participating in requirement/design reviews, providing input on completeness of functional requirements, design elements and schedules . Researching, recommending and establishing best practices in manual and automated testing to encourage well-documented and reproducible testing results . Preparing for executing, developing and delivering automated testing solutions in a fast-paced automated Scrum based Sprints (e.g., Test Protocols, Test Cases) . Developing and executing integration, system, and regression testing of software, with an emphasis on automation (batch and real-time), where possible . Practicing automation development efficiency, maintainability and reusability . Developing automated test suites to ensure quality standards are met, using any of the following tools, such as: Selenium, Cucumber, QTP, Automation Anywhere . Familiarity or knowledge of Tosca is highly desirable . Identifying task dependencies, test schedules, and the utilization of test environments, for both Agile and Waterfall based projects and implementing testing activities while maintaining high quality execution . Monitoring the completion of tasks within time and cost constraints and ensuring that technical and functional objectives are met . Collecting and reporting test results and status by communicating to key stakeholders on a regular basis . Troubleshooting problems during test execution . Assessing readiness and deviation of project performance based on test results . Identifying areas of improvement across the program Required qualifications to be successful in this role: . Junior to Mid-level Roles = 1-3 / 3-5 or 5+ years IT experience . Experience in applying test automation . Experience in developing test cases using automation tools . Experience with testing and defect management tools, such as ALM and JIRA . Experience in implementing automation frameworks (e.g., batch, real-time) from scratch . Experience managing test data including creation and mining using data management tools . Knowledge of test processes and methodologies . Exposure and familiarity to SDLC, Agile and Waterfall models . Experience in TDD (Test Driven Development) . Experience leading and mentoring a team of multiple testers . Performance and Regression testing and analysis experience . Strong skills in SQL, Oracle, MS-Access . Strong written and verbal communication skills .
