AutoCAD Operator!
JOB ACCOUNTABILITY:
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Understands equations, calculations and written instructions from designers and engineers to ensure all blueprints and technical drawings are completed to specifications.
2. Prepares plans and drawings in compliance with building code regulations and with relevant engineering principles.
3. Visits sites to gather information, and determine limitations and feasibility of designs.
4. Interprets sketches, schemes, computations and using CAD software to prepare detailed drawings, plans, and blueprints.
5. Updates all shop drawings, documents, possible revisions and design issues based on site condition of the project.
6. Produces detailed 2D drawings and perspectives of projects to be used in client presentations and project implementation.
7. Ensures compliance to company health, safety and environmental standards.
8. Maintains and updates organized files, related documents and stores drawings electronically for later use.
JOB QUALIFICATION
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
1. Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Engineering or Drafting Technology courses.
2. Minimum 2 years of experience as CAD Operator in a construction company.
3. Proficient in AutoCAD software
4. Detailed oriented.
5. Strong sense of time management and self-improvement.
6. Able to perform productively while under pressure.
7. Self-motivated attitude and the ability to use initiatives.
8. Familiarity on building codes and knowledgeability on drafting software.
