JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Description
- Understands the equations, calculations and written instructions from designers and engineers before beginning a CAD drawing.
- Uses special notations and symbols to give instructions on drawings and blueprints.
- Draws plans for structural foundations and other construction projects.
- Uses manual drawing skills for plans that cannot be computer generated.
JOB QUALIFICATION
Qualification:
- Practical experience with CAD software. Knowleagable in engineering, construction and architectural principles.
- Associate's degree in drafting or similar.
- Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and standards.
- Prior experience in construction or architectural firms is preferred.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
