Description
Knowledge of the terminology, methods, practices, and techniques of engineering drafting on CAD Systems, especially AUTOCAD.
Prepares engineering drawings manually and on CAD System, which may involve limited design, to establish complete and accurate data necessary in building and renovation of classroom, office, laboratory, and research facilities.
Prepares detailed drawings of building alterations and additions including plans, sections, and elevations.
Gathers supporting data and prepares detailed maps of institutional property which show dimensions and specifications of building, water lines, sewers, drains, and related information.
Makes pictorial and isometric drawings for reports; plots charts and curves from data.
Prepares detailed layout, assembly, and working drawings; files and indexes drawings.
Participates in making field surveys, determining locations and elevations for drawings.
Performs related work as required.
