Job Description
Perform repair and replacement of worn-out electrical cable, refrigerant pipes, belts, or any accessory doubted to instigate or cause short circuitry to the auto electrical system and leakage of refrigerant, while a vehicle is sent into the workshop
Thorough check of Thermo king refrigeration system, related components such as compressors, auxiliary engine and battery, in accordance with the tasks designed for preventive maintenance and servicing.
Attend welding or soldering work requirements using electrical, gas / acetylene, aluminum, silver or bronze welding and soldering equipment.
Diagnose malfunction of a vehicle air-conditioning system, review its cause and make decision on what's the first appropriate step to carry out repair works.
Respond to call out as and when required by superiors. Responsible to carry out monthly Calibration of Vehicle refrigeration system Gauges as per ISO / HACCP requirements.
Follow-up with Sr. Supervisor or in cooperation with Purchasing Department or Technical Store, any spare parts or material purchasing requirements.
Ensures overall compliance and implement duly established company policies and procedures to and among staff, is an industrial safety practice in the workshop and working areas agronomics of workflow by proper utilization of signs.
Perform other duties such as minor mechanical maintenance and fabrication, as and when required.
Submission of daily report concerning daily achievement. Ensure proper utilization of tools and equipment while working in the workshop and other working areas.
Propose/recommend programs and procedure to upgrade the current working system for preventive maintenance and repair of the vehicles' fleet.
Generate requisitions for A/C and refrigeration's mechanical, electrical and consumable materials for all vehicles.
Maintain and monitor high standard of cleaning and sanitation in the office and workshop areas as well as in the working areas by proper disposal of used materials, scrapped mechanical or electrical parts.
Maintain and organize storing areas for common equipment, spare parts and materials, and assignment of proper labels for classification and identification purposes
Qualifications:
A minimum of 2 year(s) of working experience is required.
Candidates must be at least a high school graduate.
Male applicants are preferred for this role.
