Job description:
Reviews the accounts of the hospital to ensure the validity and legality of its financial records. May also act in an advisory role to recommend possible risk aversion measures and cost savings that could be made. Ensures that financial transactions are recorded and processed correctly. Responsible for promptly identifying instances of under and over payment of accounts, submitting reports to management outlining inaccuracies in the payment in the payment process.
Job Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Management or other related program. At least (2) years related work experience is preferred.
Additional distinctions or certifications may be preferred or required.
Strong understanding of accounting, banking laws, regulations, and internal controls
Familiarity with general accounting practices and techniques.
Sound understanding of audit theories, principles, and practices.
Strong interpersonal skills, critical thinking skills, and time management skills.
High level of efficiency, accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
Meticulous attention to detail.
Ability to report thoroughly research results
Strong aptitude in the financial system.
Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
Comfortability working in a collaborative environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
