Basic requirements:
Graduate of Accountancy or Audit
With at least two (2) years experience of audit works
Highly proficient in computer and system design
With strong leadership, training, and monitoring skills
Willing to do field works
Job summary:
Performs audit works and supervises audit assistant on audit assignments
Duties and responsibilities:
Performs field work and spot audit to assess controls, operatioal efficiences, and compliance with selected policies, proceudures, and regulations;
Monitors daily activities of audit assistant. Monitors work progress of audit assistant to ensures compliance with the audit plan and audit programs;
Elicits information from knowledgeable internal or external sources about the audit task to determine appropriate audit direction and methodology through examination of records, interviews, observation, and research;
Prepares audit work plans and updates audit programs;
Ensures that working papers are adequately documented and audit evidence is sufficient;
Reviews, evaluates, and assesses the adequacy and effectiveness of existing systems and procedures. Recommends changes or enhancements;
Reviews draft of processflow for new company or new areas to be audited should there be no written flowchart, policies, and procedures;
Ensures compliance to guidelines and policies set-up by the management;
Edits audit reports for quality and accuracy of result;
Communicates the audit result to concerned personnel and department;
Participates in communicating the audit results to the management and execution of other work plans;
Monitors status of corrective actions taken on audit findings and closure of all pending items;
Attends audit meetings and prepares minutes of audit meetings;
Attends or assists in audit meeting or management meeting in order to identify areas with audit significance;
Evaluates the performance of audit assistants;
Performs other related duties and responsibilities as required.
