Description
The Audit Supervisor assists the Chief of Admin and Finance in the supervision, development and maintenance of sound financial and operational controls by undertaking systematic audit, inventory and checking processes. He or she reports relevant issues and recommends improved business practices.
Major Responsibilities
Responsible for the supervision of day to day activities of the audit staff.
Responsible for the review of working papers and audit reports for accuracy, completeness, quality and conformity with the departmental policy.
Recommends changes and/or modification of work plans, methods and procedures.
Responsible for the completion of the performance appraisal of the audit staff.
Provides work instruction and assistance to audit staff with difficult and/or unusual assignments to attain the objective.
Assist the Chief of Admin and Finance in the preparation of audit activities and calendar of activities.
Performs other related functions that may be assigned by the superior from time to time.
Job Specifications
Minimum Education: Graduate of BS Accountancy.
Experience Required
With at least 3 years supervisory experience in Internal Auditing.
Have a good background in audit report review and preparation.
Background in LPG Industry is an advantage.
Skills And Abilities
Excellent analytical / problem-solving skills.
Makes sound and well-informed decisions; perceives the impact and implications of decisions.
Excellent communication skills (both oral and written) to include narrative report preparation.
Proven track record in demonstrating initiative and ability to prioritize and handle a demanding and diverse workload.
Discretion in dealing with confidential and sensitive information.
Able to handle competing demands under pressure, with high level of accuracy and attention to details.
Excellent interpersonal skills, able to deal with all levels of staff professionally.
Willing to work extended hours.
Willing to travel to the provinces, if necessary.
Internet savvy and with a good working knowledge and skills of computer software applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
