We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Internal Auditor to join our team. The Internal Auditor will be responsible for evaluating and improving the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes within our organization. This role involves conducting thorough audits of various departments, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and providing recommendations to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and execute internal audits, including the development of audit scopes and objectives.
Analyze and evaluate accounting documents, previous reports, data, flowcharts etc.
Prepare and present reports that reflect audit results and document the process.
Identify loopholes and recommend risk aversion measures and cost savings.
Maintain open communication with management and the audit committee.
Conduct follow-up audits to monitor managements interventions.
Engage in continuous knowledge development regarding sectors rules, regulations, best practices, tools, techniques and performance standards.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field.
Proven work experience as an Internal Auditor or Senior Auditor.
Advanced computer skills in MS Office, accounting software, and databases.
Excellent knowledge of auditing standards and procedures, laws, rules and regulations.
High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
