AUDIO RECORDING COORDINATOR / OVERSEAS VENDOR LIAISON
 
Job Description
 
You will be responsible for supporting and managing audio recording projects for both Japanese and international clients. This role involves recording with teams across different countries, ensuring production quality, and managing the overall recording process.
 
Main Responsibilities
 
Preparation & Training Phase
Communicate and coordinate with the Japan Staff
Create Gantt charts (Overall recording schedules)
Prepare line count sheets (Dialogue breakdown per character)
Cross-check English and Original scripts
Translate character references and update production notes
Check audio quality and rename files as required
Operation & Expansion Phase
Develop and coordinate with overseas recording studios
Communicate with clients regarding to production progress and reporting
Manage and coordinate with vendors (Scheduling and quality assurance)
Review English narration and voice recording from overseas actors including pronunciation and intonation accuracy.
Qualifications
Strong communication skills (email, chat, and online meetings)
Excellent understanding of native English pronunciation and intonation, e.g., able to identify and correct pronunciation errors made by native English voice actors (American accent preferred)
Basic computer literacy (Excel, Google Sheets, Chat tools, etc. )
Experience working collaboratively in a team environment
Preferred Skills & Experience
Experience in voice recording, anime/game production, translation, or project management
Background in audio direction or English education material production
Skill test
 
As part of the screening process, applicants will be asked to record themselves reading a short English passage.
