Requirements:
Candidate must possess at at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Accounting/Commerce or similar
At least 5 - 7 years of experience in the Australian tax accounting industry
Strong knowledge of Australian accounting and financial principles and practices
Excellent written and verbal English business communication skills
A strong attention to detail and high levels of initiative Strong analytical, problem solving, and interpersonal skills
Certified Public Accountant license is a plus
Duties and Responsibilities:
Preparing tax returns for individuals, trust, partnerships, and companies in accordance with ATO guidelines
Preparing and analyzing Australian Financial Statements such as Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss and Asset Register using respective clients accounting systems
Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual Activity Statements for clients in accordance with ATO guidelines
Conducting tax planning and preparing budgets and cash flow forecasts
Complete all other compliance documents as required
Researching various taxation and corporation matters as required
Supporting and assisting team members with client queries
Providing feedback to the General Manager regarding issues improvements, or opportunities to offer the client additional services
