AU Senior Accountant
We are seeking an AU Senior Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with our onshore team in Australia to manage our clients' financial operations and provide financial analysis, reporting, and workflow management including a review of bookkeeping work. The AU Senior Accountant will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial information, preparing financial statements, and closing the accounting cycle for each reporting period on a timely basis.
Job Description:
• Manage financial operations for multiple clients in collaboration with our onshore team.
• Work closely with the onshore team to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and month end close.
• Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Prepare and or review comprehensive month end balance sheet reconciliation with supporting working papers and schedules.
• Perform financial analysis and reporting on a regular basis.
• Assist with financial forecasts (including cash flow) and budgets for clients.
• Assist with managing client relationships and provide financial guidance to clients.
• Train and mentor junior staff members, including our offshore team members.
• Manage and review the end-to-end bookkeeping cycle (ie: AP, AR, BAS, Payroll).
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or any related field
• Has 3+ years of experience in financial management, accounting, or management accounting.
• Experience working in a consulting firm is preferred.
• Experience working with onshore teams is highly desirable (in a BPO environment or Consulting environment).
• Experience using Xero, MYOB, Quickbooks.
• CPA, master's, or CA certification is a plus.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
• The ability to embrace change and deliver to tight deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
• The ability to quickly adapt to new systems and softwares.
• The ability to work independently and manage multiple clients.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional Written and Oral Conduct.
• English language fluency.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent time management.
