The role
As Financial Accountant you will report directly to the founder of the business, working autonomously to maintain and improve the finance and bookkeeping processes at PNC Built. This role will involve working independently to complete assigned tasks, as well as bringing your financial acumen and experience to implement process improvements in how a number of financial administrative tasks are executed.
On a day-to-day basis, this role will include data entry, processing and reconciling transactions, routine reporting, accounts receivable and accounts payable as well as payroll processing. You will have a minimum of 3 years of experience working with an Australian building/construction small-medium business, managing the finance/bookkeeping function.

Managing the accounts email inbox
Accounts Payable processing
Accounts Receivable processing
Bank reconciliations
Payroll processing
Balance sheet reconciliation
Identifying and requesting missing or incomplete information
Responding to and assisting with client requests for information
Routine client communications
Routine finance reporting
End of Month processing
PO creation
Making routine adjustments to Buildertrend forecast based on revised budgets
Journal updates to Xero as required
Use of systems such as:
Xero
Onedrive / Google Suite
BuilderTrend - Preferable
Microsoft Teams
Essential skills and experience
Strong written & spoken English communication
Strong attention to detail in maintaining and inputting data accurately
A proactive finance manager and skilled problem solver who takes pride in improving and streamlining processes
Effectively able to work with task management systems to perform tasks daily, weekly, fortnightly and monthly
Adapt to Australian time zones as required (7am - 4pm PH time)
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance or equivalent experience
3 + years of professional Australian accounting and bookkeeping experience
