Manage day-to-day accounting tasks, including but not limited to
Bank Reconciliation
Bills/Invoice processing
Aged Payables/Receivables
Payroll Processing
Financial Statement Preparation
Prepare Business Activity Statements (BAS's) & Installment Activity Statements (IAS's)
End of Year Accounts
Ensure that all work is error-free and professionally presented
Communication with clients to gather and follow up on the needed information
Perform other tasks as requested or required
Requirements
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent.
CPA is preferred but not required
At least 1 year of Australian experience (accounting or tax or both)
Highly experienced in Xero / MYOB
Strong Excel skills, including report production
Receptive to training and coaching
Strong attention to details and high analytical skills
Excellent communication and time management skills
Trustworthy in managing confidential information
