We're looking for a detail-oriented and experienced finance professional to join our team and take ownership of our NDIS invoicing, financial reporting, and business intelligence processes. Key Responsibilities:
 
NDIS Invoicing & Pricing
Generate and submit NDIS-compliant invoices (NDIA, plan-managed, self-managed).
Interpret and apply the latest NDIS Price Guide accurately for quotes and billing.
Prepare service quotes for new participants, including SIL, High Intensity, and PBS services.
Financial Management & Reporting
Maintain and reconcile Xero daily, including bank feeds, expenses, payroll (if applicable), and Chart of Accounts updates.
Provide weekly P&L, cash flow reports, and financial trend insights.
Create and maintain custom financial registers (e.g., income vs cost per service, invoice tracking).
Monitor for anomalies, unclaimed services, and overdue payments.
Business Intelligence & Strategic Support
Build dashboards and reports (Excel/Google Sheets) for real-time financial visibility.
Analyze data to support decisions on service profitability and resource allocation.
Support audit preparation and ensure compliance with financial reporting deadlines.
Requirements:
2 to 3 years proven experience in bookkeeping/accounting for Australian businesses (NDIS experience strongly preferred).
Expert knowledge of Xero (certification highly regarded).
Strong understanding of NDIS Pricing Arrangements & Price Limits, including line item applications.
Experience with NDIS portal uploads, CSV formatting, and service bookings.
Advanced skills in Excel/Google Sheets (formulas, pivot tables, charts, automation).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Desirable Attributes:
Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and minimal supervision needed.
Handles sensitive financial data with confidentiality and integrity.
Familiarity with SIL, PBS, and NDIS registration groups.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment.
Experience with tools like Employment Hero, ShiftCare, ClickUp is a plus.
