ASST. MANAGER, OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT (MANUFACTURING)
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
Planning and controlling changes in all operations related activities.  
Ensure that all output are manufactured in a correct, cost effective and timely manner as aligned with specifications and quality requirements. 
Manage project budget and timelines to meet expectations/goals. 
Provide support to the operations manager. 
Setting and reviewing budget and managing cost. 
Perform quality controls and monitor production KPIs. 
Working knowledge of manpower schedules. 
Monitor operations execution and ensure it is under control. 
Identify opportunities for improvement. 
Exhibiting good organizational abilities in order to keep everything on track. 
Identify what is required for staff to carry out their duties 
Provide guidance and direction, monitor and motivates the team.  
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
 
I. Educational Background:  Graduate of Electronics or Electrical Engineering or equivalent degree 
 
II. Experience:  With related experience in supervising and leading operation and production team with effective strategy, executing complex strategic and operational initiatives. With a background working with manuals, process and parts evaluations. Knowledge in wire harness assembly is a plus.
 
III. Knowledge, Skills and Attitude: 
Superior problem solving and program management skills.  
Knowledgeable with reject analysis and application QC tools. 
Management expertise in a very fast-paced environment.         
Ability to effectively work within a team and cross functionally to expedite completion of critical project task.  
Must have good interpersonal skills.  
Must portray good leadership abilities 
Adequate knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operation. 
Proactive and enjoy taking up challenges. 
Proven planning skills including prioritization, milestone setting, and resource estimation. 
Knowledgeable in ISO 9001 standard.
