Under general supervision, performs complex Project Control activities. Activities
include, but are not limited to:
. Analyses current schedule/cost trends against the plan and identifies potential problem areas
. Uses the Work Breakdown and Project Coding Structures to ensure that data are entered
correctly into the Project Controls systems in a consistent manner
. Develops cost reports format as required by internal or client requirements
. Coordinates and participates in Change Management meetings
. Assists in the preparation of specialty schedules, the project labour forecast, cash flows, Project
Income Statements and performs profit recognition activities
. Prepares and updates weekly work plans
. Develops and tracks Risk and Opportunities Evaluation
. Assists with preparation of historical information and benchmarking
. Assists in generating, checking, and analysing data to ensure accuracy
. Other duties as assigned
Basic Job Requirements
Accredited degree or global equivalent
. Proven working experience in project environments
. Proven experience of teamwork and working effectively with Clients, project team members, management, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders
. Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
. Ability to gather, analyse, sort and present data at the appropriate level of detail
. Displays strong personal computer skills, including analysis and data presentation techniques.
. Be able to work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
. Willingness to learn and apply knowledge
. Possesses experience in the use of automated cost management systems
