Your Daily Impact At Botkeeper
Under the direction of Botkeeper's Director of Security, learn how to approach compliance activities for Botkeeper's compliance to SOC 2 Type 2 and future compliance needs.
Manage multiple SOC 2 Type 2 controls on continuous testing programs simultaneously with specific deadlines weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually.
Evaluate the progress of remediation steps on identified control deficiencies.
Ensure reports and findings are delivered in a timely and appropriate manner to management and responsible stakeholders.
Understand Botkeeper controls and participate in internal and external audits
Learn and adapt all requirements of SOC 2 Type 1 or Type 2 with some knowledge of the industry standards such as ISO, SOX, COBIT, or GDPR.
Administer and assist the annual SOC 2 audit with external auditors. You will be expected to maintain controls, artifacts, and deadlines under the guidance of Botkeeper's Director of Security.
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience executing compliance programs internally and externally.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information, programming, or a related field
Highly organized, motivated, and detail-oriented with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Flexible and able to adapt quickly in a fast-moving environment.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
Strong degree of comfort working alongside, engaging, and communicating with business-side stakeholders, peers and leadership team.
Must have familiarity with systems, networks, and a variety of security concepts, practices, and procedures.
Must be able to read and interpret network diagrams and technical architecture drawings.
Experience developing, championing, and managing complex internal and external compliance efforts.
Ability to work independently and effectively with all levels of staff and management both internally and externally.
General knowledge or understanding of ISO, COBIT, and SOC 2 control frameworks is a plus.
One or more of the following certifications is preferred: CISA, CISM, CRISC, CISSP, or with industry-standard experience.
