Business Dimensions:
The role expectation is for the candidate to be an expert in SmartPlant P&ID(SPPID) as a user to closely engage with an OU in updating technical specifications & suggest improvement solutions for overall quality of work.
Primary Responsibilities:
Act as an individual contributor who can act as both SPPI&D & AutoCAD designer.
Experienced in extraction, validation of reports like Line list, Valve list, Piping component list, Equipment list, Instrument list using SPPID software.
Expertise in validating the reports with respect to software related and process drawing wise, asset specific guidelines and workflows.
Understand the Project standards.
Reviewing capacity of Red Line Markup from Process engineering background and Update RLM comments as per SPPID standard.
Analytical skill for transforming RLM in to SPPID tool.
Co-relate comments from other tools (AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc..,)
Create new drawings as per standard.
Understand P&ID process workflow and symbols used on it.
Strong Knowledge on Symbols used in P&ID's.
Inconsistency & error resolving skill.
Item tag duplication identification & resolving skill.
Extraction of Line list, Valve list, Instrument list, Piping component list, Specialist items list & Equipment's list using Engineering Data Editor (EDE).
Required Qualifications/Experience:
University Degree in Chemical /Process /Mechanical /Industrial / Piping Engineering.
Oil & Gas/ Petrochemical Industry experience - operating assets and/or a varied range of brownfield projects.
A minimum of 2 years experience in Designer and in Smart Plant P&ID.
A diverse design experience, particularly with typical engineering/construction projects, and strong supervisory and excellent computer skills.
Strong understanding of fundamentals of Mechanical, Piping, Electrical, Instrumentation, Civil Structural and Process discipline required for drafting activities.
Knowledge in Information Management and Integrated Engineering Systems processes and principles
Familiar with international codes, standards, recommended practices, and knowledge level in Shell Dep will be added advantageous.
Chemical/Process design & technical disciplinary drawings in design, drafting & engineering firms/ consultancy firms/ plant environments/industry past the professional degree/diploma.
Good self-motivation, high drive for performance, customer focus, stakeholder engagement and team working skills are essential.
Fully compliant with Group Life Saving Rules.
A finisher delivering against targets and deadlines.
A good and strong team player.
Ability to work in high performing teams and operate/integrate across all levels of the Asset.
Note: This position will require a hybrid work schedule. Timings as follows: 3PM-12AM PHT
