This position supports the Architectural Area Lead or Lead on assigned projects and performs routine aspects of architectural assignments, applying basic architectural principles. . Develop and review project Scope of Services, Scope of Facilities, and other project baseline documents for all phases of projects . Develop estimates, schedules, progress reports, and key quantities tracking reports . Monitor material estimates and quantities . Participate in equipment and material procurement activities . Perform and check basic architectural design and calculations, specify simple equipment, and solve problems of simple technical complexity . Review vendor equipment documentation within the discipline and from other disciplines for compliance with project requirements, and actively seek discrepancy resolution . Organize and prioritize a variety of projects and multiple tasks in an effective and timely manner, set priorities, and meet deadlines . May need to travel to attend to business related matters . Meet expectations on attendance and punctuality . Other duties as assigned Basic Job Requirements . NAAB accredited professional architectural degree based on country requirements and one (1) year of work-related experience . Participation in NCARB AXP Program . Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors . Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job . Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines . Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner Preferred Qualifications . Basic knowledge of: o Site master planning o Architectural programming o Conceptual design of buildings and sites o Renderings and 3D visualization o Sustainable design . Basic knowledge of discipline codes and standards, commercial availability and cost of materials, means and methods of construction .
