The purpose of this position is to perform the essential job duties and functions listed below with the overall objective of maximizing the efficiency of the project team and achieving the project goals through the best application of automation technology tools and methods.
Primary Job Duties/Functions:
. Provides technical configuration and office support for core Fluor Automation software.
. Works with the Project Information Manager (PIM) to analyze any technical implementation or configuration issues for the core Fluor Automation software.
. Provides local project support for the Computer Integrated Engineering (CIE) needs of a project.
. Provides any end user office support, project setup and configuration or special project modifications required for the automation technology utilized.
. Assists IT in evaluating technology impact to Fluor infrastructure and system.
. Other related duties/functions as assigned.
Basic Job Requirements
. Accredited 4-year degree/Bachelor's degree or equivalent required. Engineering or IT degree is preferred.
. Basic computer and software skills which include the use of word processing and email as well as the basic use of spreadsheets and electronic presentations.
. Effective oral and written communication skills
. Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner.
. Optional but desirable qualifications:
o Knowledge of 2D and /or 3D CAD systems:
. AutoCAD, Microstation, Hexagon 3D, AVEVA 3D
o Knowledge of Information Technology in:
. Desktop/laptop environment and general office tools
. Infrastructure (WANs, LANs, telecommunications, etc.
. Electronic security
. Electronic communications
Work Mode: Full-time onsite reporting at company's office
Office Location: Filinvest Corporate City, Alabang, Muntinlupa City
Required Work Hours: Standard business hours (compressed work week) with flexibility to join meetings and perform work tasks during US business hours.
