Manages and maintains surveying tools, equipment, and accessories. The role will report to the Senior Mine Surveyor.Key tasks and responsibilities:
Geodetic is the ability of determining the position of points on the earth surface and the dimensions of large areas so that the curvature of the earth must be taken into account. Bathymetric is the ability to measure the depth of a water body as well as map the underwater features of a water body;
The ability to operate and monitor assigned equipment safely, efficiently, and reliably by developing and implementing effective equipment management procedures within the mine; and
The ability to plan work and organize people to achieve results.
QualificationsEducational Background:
High School Graduate
Knowledge in basic Math, specifically basic geometry
Able to communicate in both Tagalog and English
Work Experience and Background:
0-1 years' work experience, preferably Mining
Specialization/License:
Valid Driver's License
Desired Qualifications:
Willing to be trained and learn
Hardworking and patient
Manual Handling
Physically fit
Knowledge:
Knowledge in surveying instruments and basic knowledge of MS-word programs
Skills:
Can drive light vehicle
Abilities:
Ability to perform duties and responsibilities as required in the position
