Job Description
Will be responsible for supporting construction projects from start to finish. This includes developing project plans, coordinating with other APE's, PE's, Superintendents, and PM's.
Overseeing the project documentation, buyout, daily reports, look ahead schedules, as well as supporting with estimates and submittals.
The APE must have a strong understanding of Construction flow and principles, as well as experience working with Construction management tools
Must also be able to effectively communicate, in English, with other members of the project team, as well as with vendors and clients.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 10 year(s) of working experience is required.
Candidates must be a Bachelor's / College Degree holder in Engineering(Civil) or similar fields.
Knowledge of construction materials, buyout procedures, purchasing, construction management, pre-paring submittals,
Reviewing project proposals, Bill of Materials, including scope of work, RFP's, creating Consolidated RFP's, PPI's and shop drawings.
Demonstrates complex problem solving, critical thinking, and monitoring skills to assist in logically identifying problems.
Develop comprehensive construction coordination documentation for both internal use and client handoff purposes.
To provide ongoing maintenance and support for project teams as required.
Very good English language skills, and excellent listening skills.
Excellent customer service and "soft" communication skills.
BS in an Engineering field or equivalent work experience of 8-10 years
Working knowledge of MS Office, Bluebeam, Revit, RSMeans, AutoCAD and P6.
Someone who has traveled overseas before would be a plus
