Here's a summary of what you will be doing in this job: The Assistant (Permitting Services-Stations and Corporate) acquires regulatory clearances, permits, and licenses for the operations of stations and corporate units. Success in this role will require you to fulfill the following responsibilities: 1. Secures and submits application forms and checklists needed for the acquisition of applicable clearances, permits, and licenses. a. Obtains a checklist from Local Government Units (LGUs). b. Fills up information needed. 2. Completes papers and documents required in the course of permits acquisition. a. Gathers from relevant parties the necessary requirements such as building plans, signed contracts, and other documents. 3. Acts as representative and/or liaison during the permits acquisition process from application to issuance. a. Tracks and follows up the status of submitted applications for particular permits. b. Facilitates meetings with Local Government Units (LGUs) regarding issues arising from permits acquisition. c. Coordinates with government offices both national and local with respect to actual inspection of sites. 4. Prepares payment requests for various payment obligations and cash advances in connection with permits acquisition. a. Ensures that various fees and charges for clearances, licenses, permits, and other regulatory requirements are paid on a timely manner. b. Ensures that utility bills of stations and corporate units are regularly paid, including payments for new utility connections and installations. c. Prepares various documents in support of the payment of obligations such as order payment, acknowledgment receipts, summary of expenses, etc. 5. Monitors the status of permits acquisition, including the remaining effectivity and subsequent renewals thereof a. Business permits- renewed on a yearly basis b. Fire Safety Inspection Certificate- renewed on a yearly basis c. Sanitary Permit- renewed on a yearly basis d. Electrical Permit- renewed on a yearly basis e. Mechanical Permit-renewed on a yearly basis f. DENR Permit to Operate- renewed every three (3) years 6. Verifies compliance of dealers/distributors with the applicable regulatory requirements. a. Verifies if the station has acquired pertinent permits such as Department of Energy (DOE), Laguna Lake Development Authority (LLDA) and Permit & Operate (PTO). b. Monitors compliance with Notice of Violations issued against stations and other facilities. 7. Deals with the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) with respect to the acquisition of the requisite permits for stations and corporate units. a. Prepares and submits the application for the requisite permits, including renewals and thereof. b. Follows up the issuance or grant of the subject permits c. Monitors compliance with the conditions provided with the grant or issuance of the permits. Qualifications: 1. Graduate of a four-year course relating to any 2. At least 1-3 years of experience in any professional background. Has an advantage if legal related experience. 3. Adept in familiarity with business and environmental permit acquisition 4. Multi-tasking ability and computer literate. 5. Demonstrates strong keen on details and prepare in advance. 6. Above average verbal and written communication skills. 7. Working knowledge of web-based Google Workspace (formerly, G Suite, and comprises of spreadsheets, documents, and presentations). 8. Willing to do fieldwork, if needed. Expectations from Candidates: Candidates who are invited for HR screening will need to undergo and pass an online exam and/or technical exam, and accomplish HR documents, personality tests, and essay exams before proceeding to the HR interview. Candidates who pass the HR interview would then need to submit soft copies of their available pre-employment requirements, such as the Transcript of Records, Diploma, and NBI clearance.
