Get to know the Role We are looking for an Assistant Manager, SMB Merchant Success (GrabPay PH) to primarily drive merchant programs to grow small and medium businesses (SMBs) merchants of GrabPay. This includes being the primary point of contact for and managing relationships with these SMBs. You will also spearhead strategy execution for the SMB merchant segment, coordinating with the Consumer Growth and Country Marketing teams to roll-out programs and campaigns to grow and ensure consistent business volume from these merchants. We believe a successful candidate has superb relationship management skills and is able to rally various cross-functional teams towards a common goal of empowering 1 in 2 everyday entrepreneurs in Southeast Asia and in the Philippines, in particular. The day-to-day activities Develops and implements merchant incubation, merchant success programs and retention strategy that enable these SMB merchants to be successful on the GrabPay platform Manage and grow relationships with the SMB merchant segment, acting as these merchants' primary point of contact for concerns and initiatives. Maintain positive net promoter score for this SMB merchant segment, enabling GrabPay PH's positioning as the preferred payment method for small and medium merchants. Drive merchant activity and retention by identifying opportunities and implementing programs for growth, expansion, and optimization regarding merchant use of the platform, in coordination with the Consumer Growth, Country Marketing, and other cross-functional teams Work closely with customer support, finance and product to ideate and solve operational issues for SMB merchants covered Manage operation cost, delivery of marketing collateral, and ad-hoc projects for SMB merchants, together with the GrabPay PH Consumer and Country Marketing teams The must have Bachelor's degree (min. requirement) Experience: Minimum of 3 to 5 years working experience in sales, business development, or key account / relationship management, preferably in financial services / fintech firms or telecommunications Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of the payments, merchant, and retail business Strong communication, presentation, and management skills with a high level of integrity and understanding of professionalism and code of conduct Able to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment, working with cross-functional teams, and to meet critical deadlines, while multi-tasking and being results focused
