Lead or execute audit assignments in accordance with corporate methodology and Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing. Manage assignments within time budgets and target dates, reporting any problem to audit management. who can understand and identify business risks and key controls. Test and assess the effectiveness of identified key controls. Review the work of audit team members. Prepare audit reports including executive summary and rating of adequacy of risk management. Make practical and value-added recommendations to improve risk management practices and the efficiency and effectiveness of operations. who can present findings and recommendations to management; resolve contentious issues and reach agreement on appropriate solutions to risk management and operational efficiency issues. Monitor open audit issues until resolved. who has experience in assisting in the annual audit planning and preparation of management reports and regulatory audits. Anticipate and respond to information requests and business unit management needs. Keep audit management informed of the audit progress. who can build and maintain good working relationships with management. Foster collaboration and improve coordination of audit activities among Risk Management, Compliance and other governance groups. Partner with audit management in executing strategic initiatives. who can assist in the investigation of issues or matters outside of the regular audit plan and perform any other duties relating to Audit as assigned by relevant management or Audit Committee. who has idea in keep current on emerging risks and current developments on the insurance industry and internal audit standards and techniques. Nice to Have: Bachelor degree required Minimum of 5 years internal/external audit or equivalent business experience Insurance and financial services industry knowledge is a plus Recognized accounting (CPA, CMA) or auditing (CIA) professional designation is an advantage Highly proficient in MS Office applications Demonstrated understanding of business processes and their risk implications. Demonstrated ability to analyze situations, reach appropriate conclusions, and make value-added and practical recommendations. Demonstrated knowledge of audit methodologies, project management and system development methodologies, control frameworks and risk management practices, and regulatory requirements. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to provide clear and timely feedback, and to seek feedback when needed. Proven relationship skills including ability to deal with staff/management at all levels. Results oriented; ability to balance multiple priorities and projects Conscious of emerging issues, industry trends and current events Commitment to quality and strong work ethics.
