Job Summary:
 
The Assistant Maintenance Supervisor will support the Maintenance Supervisor in overseeing day-to-day maintenance operations. This role involves coordinating routine maintenance, addressing repair requests, supervising a team of maintenance staff, and ensuring all work is carried out efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, with strong organizational skills and a background in facility or building maintenance.
 
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in supervising and coordinating the daily maintenance and repair activities for the facility.
Conduct inspections to ensure all equipment and systems are functioning properly.
Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs or services.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Respond promptly to urgent repair needs and emergencies.
Assist in maintaining an inventory of equipment and supplies.
Train, supervise, and evaluate maintenance staff, ensuring quality and efficiency.
Maintain accurate records of work orders, inspections, and maintenance logs.
Provide excellent customer service and build positive relationships with clients.
Performs job that may be assigned from time to time.
 
Requirements:
 
Proven experience in maintenance, facilities management, or a related field.
Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general maintenance tasks.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Ability to work under pressure and in emergency situations.
