What you will do:
Acting as support for the Manager for Learning and Development, ensure the smooth and effective operation of the Learning and Development team.
Effectively design, administer, and facilitate trainings and ensure that all learning outcomes are met.
Work with different business units, participants, and other stakeholders to assess training needs and evaluate training effectiveness.
Coordinate with different business units, divisions, and departments regarding the various training schedules.
Recommend necessary upskill training and pinpoint areas for improvement in learner competencies and training process.
Together with the Manager for Learning and Development, mentor and guide the Learning and Development Supervisor and Associates in their work and contribute towards their improvement.
Ensure business continuity in the Learning and Development Team and perform, on occasion, Performance Management and OD functions as part of cross-training efforts and exposure.
Fulfill other jobs and responsibilities that may be assigned by the Manager of Learning and development, and the Talent and Culture leadership.
What we need:
Excellent communication and facilitation skills
Familiarity with different training philosophies (ADDIE, Bloom's Taxonomy, etc.), learning management systems, and performance management systems.
Ability to design and customize different training programs with strong organization, administrative, and tracking skills
Computer and content creation skills (MS Office, Adobe Captivate, etc.)
Critical thinking and problem solving skills
Leadership and people management skills
College graduate with at least four (4) years experience in Training, Learning and Development, or any relevant field.
Proven track record of delivering results and innovative solutions/insights.
Flexible, with an ability to work under pressure within a fast-paced environment.
Ability to function within a team, with a genuine regard for co-workers and learners alike and capable of working in a diverse and multi-cultural environment
Experience and passion for hospitality and/or gaming is an advantage.
