We are a mid-sized specialist manufacturer in the printing industry located in Laguna, reporting to our head office based in Australia. We are seeking a Financial Accountant for our Finance team. It is a new role which requires a mature approach to prioritising tasks with meeting deadlines.
Duties include but not limited to:
Prepare monthly journals including depreciation, and recurring journals
Maintain fixed assets register
Performs bank reconciliations and balance sheet items reconciliations
Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and supporting reconciliations
Prepare supporting schedules and reconciliations for our external auditors
Provide support to Financial Controller as and when assigned
Any other related duties as assigned.
To be considered for the role, applicants will need to demonstrate:
Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or equivalent
Similar working experience of at least five years
Advanced MS EXCEL skills
Good verbal and written communication skills
Attention to detail and a focus on accuracy
Resourcefulness and determination to solve accounting challenges
Ability to work well under pressure with a pro-active working attitude
A sense of urgency and commitment to assigned deadlines
Other attributes considered favourably for the position would be:
Previous experience with manufacturing accounts in the printing industry
Previous experience with XERO or an integrated accounting software system
