Job Description
Assist Head Cook with food preparation and cooking of Italian menu items.
Perform a variety of duties including cooking pasta and other cooking methods to specified recipes and standards.
Perform cleaning duties such as washing dishes, wiping counters and cleaning kitchen areas
Ensure food safety standards are met and followed
Receive and store food items according to safety and sanitation guidelines.
Monitor food temperatures and quality throughout the cooking process
Plate meals according to recipes and presentation standards.
Ensure the kitchen is properly stocked with necessary items.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 2 year(s) of working experience is required.
Candidates must be at least a high school graduate.
At least 2 years' experience as assistant cook.
Candidates must have a passport
Must know how to prepare Italian menu.
Must know how to prepare and cook pasta.
Experience in kitchen operations.
In-depth understanding of food health and safety regulations.
Exceptional time management and organizational skills .
Exceptional physical stamina and strength.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Thoroughness and attention to detail.
