Description
ASSISTANT ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE ACCOUNTANT
Location : Caloocan
Salary Package: 20-30k
Full Time
Work Setup : Temporary Work From Home
Summary and Requirements :
1.Encodes newly-approved tuition and school fees in the student account management system;
2.Prepares schedule of assessment for the current academic year;
3.Prepares summary of tuition, laboratory, and other school fees per College based on newly-approved fees for posting on the bulletin board;
4.Coordinates with University Registrar on the list of currently enrolled students for accident insurance coverage;
5.Validates adding and changing of subject and section with approval of the Concerned College Dean and University Registrar;
6.Computes special class rates for review of the Head of Student Accounts;
7.Prints and issues examination permits;
8.Updates billing and payment records of the MS Ortho students per patients;
9.Prepares schedule of student account balance for the dependents of the University employees for deduction against school opening financial assistance loan (SOFAL);
10.Computes the number of hours absent and its corresponding charges for those nursing and midwifery students who will attend make-up duty in connection with relative learning experience (RLE);
11.Monitors payments of nursing and midwifery students attending make up duty in connection with relative learning experience (RLE);
12.Generates Assessment Details every end of the semester and summer classes;
13.Provides assistance in the survey of tuition and other school fees of direct competitive schools and universities;
14.Provides assistance in the Student Statement of Accounts seven (7) days before the due date;
15.Performs other related tasks as assigned by the Head of Student Accounts and the Finance Director.
COMPETENCY REQUREMENTS:
1.KNOWLEDGE:
1.1 Applicable concepts in student account management;
1.2 Above average aptitude on basic math subject;
1.3 Standard University practices, policies, and procedures;
1.4 Basic customer service concepts;
2.SKILLS:
2.1 Computer Proficiency - Microsoft office applications; system proficiency based on the requirements of student account management operations;
2.2 Inter-personal Skills - ability to relate with internal and external contacts;
2.3 Communication Skills - ability to prepare reports;
2.4 Multi-tasking Skills - ability to work from simple to complex tasks on a given time;
2.5 Decision-making - recommends effectively on matters requiring urgency and discretion;
2.6 Analytical Skills - ability to comprehend the relevance of date/information at hand.
3.EDUCATIONAL ATTAINMENT:
BS Accountancy or related course.
4.EXPERIENCE:
One (1) year related experience focusing on accounts receivable management.
