Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure that all transactions match between the company's records and bank statements
Assist in process accounts payable transactions accurately, ensuring timely payments to vendors
Assist with invoicing for accounts receivable and following up on outstanding payments
Bank and corporate credit card reconciliations and cost tracking
Assist with annual Insurance renewals
Creation and upload of bank files bi-weekly
Assist in the production of accurate and timely results for corporate accounting purposes in according with timelines and policies
Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines
Assist with reviewing of expenses, payroll records etc. as assigned to ensure accurate financial reporting
Upload construction budgets/claims for new jobs
Other tasks as required to help the finance team achieve their goals
Assist the other departments with ad hoc administration and accounting queries
Minimum Qualifications
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Bachelor of Accounting/Finance
