Principal accountabilities are:
Financial / Accounting
Oversite and management of Xero across our companies
Monthly general ledger and bank account reconciliations
Accrual reconciliation
Assist with Quarterly BAS and yearly Group returns
Assist with Payroll Tax reconciliations
Assist with preparation of monthly Report on financial results
Assist with managing the payroll requirements in Xero.
Assist with accounts payable and receivables.
Creating and posting journal entries as required
Assist with the setting up or create new GL accounts as required.
Assist with any costings, sales orders, payment, creditors transaction entry or bank reconciliations
Work closely with our external Accountants
Assisting with Stock take processing and new price lists
EOFY reconciliations and Workers' compensations
Planning:
Assist in formulating the company's policies and procedures for administration and fiscal management.
Analyze and discuss financial performance with Directors (P&L and Balance Sheet)
Oversee the issuance of financial information and government regularly reporting requirements within the countries where the Groups operations expand.
Integrate and manage accounting contacts in our CRM.
Preparing reports and collate documentation for external Accountants as required (half yearly and EOFY)
Qualification Requirements:
Proficient in using XERO.
Advanced knowledge in Excel
Bachelor's degree in accounting
CPA/CA is recommended but optional.
Understanding of Australian Accounting law and practices
