The Tribe Wholesale Data Management is a central component in the ING Think Forward Strategy. It has been established in the COO Domain to ensure that ING Wholesale Banking has trustable data which is fully fit for the purpose (timely, complete, accurate, adoptable, comprehensive, consistent and appropriate), facilitated by a state-of-the-art data architecture and IT infrastructure. The Tribe Data Management is creating a team within ING Business Shared Services - Manila to build a Robust Data Operations for the Wholesale Data Management and Analytics Platform. The Data Operations Platform Professional will be responsible for day-to-day support for technologies and processes related to the data platform, ensuring that it is stable and is able to consistently deliver performance in accordance to defined, agreed and managed operational agreements for all incoming and outgoing data deliverables - proactively collaborating with key stakeholders and constantly exploring for opportunities to innovate and automate. Sound understanding of business principles and concepts including an understanding how Data Management is influenced by financial services functions and processes Good understanding of data management data governance, data lakes, business intelligence and analytics. Consulting mindset including an ability to think about Data Management in a way that is abstracted from how business functions currently operate Firm understanding of IT Risk User Access Management, Platform Security, Change Management, Resilience, Security Monitoring, Cybercrime Resilience, IT Risk certification preferred such as CISM or ISACA - IT Risk Fundamentals Experienced security & risk specialist, preferably in financial organizations, who is able to translate risk and security policies into concrete understandable feedback and advice. Establish and maintain Enterprise Data Lake wide Risk & Security awareness in the context of ING's Policy House, Minimum Standards and security controls in order to comply to global, regional and local laws and regulations. Establish and maintain close collaboration with Enterprise Data Lake relevant risk and security departments Coordinate and work together with Enterprise Data Lake squads on up to date, correct and timely risk identification and mitigation activities Stay up to date on risk and security related subjects and provide relevant insight and guidance to Enterprise Data Lake leadership Coach, train, assist, and challenge Enterprise Data Lake squads (engineering teams) in their efforts to develop and maintain proven secure IT services through Business Impact Analysis, risk assessments, security designs, etc Review, compile and challenge provided IT Risk evidence from Enterprise Data Lake squads and advice towards Asset Owner of Enterprise Data Lake. Review, challenge and advice IT risk operation team, devops team on implementation of IT Risk controls within the context of data management (data lakes, data analytics, business intelligence, data governance, ) Review, challenge and advice data management organisation on the compliancy of change request prior go-live on the back of a predefined set of definitions of done. Making sure all changes comply and have evidences in place. Operate User Access Management activities granting access, regulator reviewing access, creating users roles in our UAM tool within the policy set by data management. Participate in service review meetings advising IT management on improving service delivery from a ITIL perspective availability, capacity, performance, incident handling. Participating in and challenging the risk assessment process in all relevant projects and programs Act as a trusted advisor towards senior management and assigned asset owner on topics that relates to, but goes beyond their own decision-making mandate. Drive efficiencies in risk management and processes in alignment with second line Information and Operational Risk Management departments. Be able to interact with various levels of the organisation (engineering, business and sr management) Who are we looking for?
