Job Description The role of Asset and Configuration Management Expert will address current network/circuit operations issue related to Asset Inventory, Configuration, Risk assessment and quality, Network/Circcuit Configuration changes documentation and tracking, enforcement of configuration management policies and procedures. The role of Asset and Configuration Management Expert is critical in managing changes in the Enterprise Circuit Configuration such as Circuit Diagrams, Circuit General Information, Circuit Technical Configuration affecting Provisioning, Operations and Engineering. Duties and Responsibilities Identify, control, record, report, audit and verify service assets and configuration items, including versions, baselines, constituent components, their attributes, and relationships Account for, manage and protect the integrity of service assets and configuration items (and, where appropriate, those of its customers) through the service lifecycle by ensuring that only authorized components are used and only authorized changes are made Protect the integrity of service assets and configuration items Ensure the integrity of the assets and configurations required to control the services and IT infrastructure by establishing and maintaining an accurate and complete Configuration Management System (CMDB/CMS) and process (PPMs) Define and control the components of services and infrastructure Maintain accurate asset and configuration information on the historical, planned and current state of the services and infrastructure Seek performance evaluation from the Immediate superior on the implementation of asset and configuration management process Ensures issues and concerns from different owner/stakeholders are addressed appropriately Asset and Configuration Management and Planning involving Configuration identification, Naming, Labelling, Attributes, Relationships for Configuration Items. Implementation of Configuration Control Work Experience 3 years or more Level of Knowledge IT/Computer - Network/System/Database Admin Computer Science/Information Technology Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication) Competencies Ability to apply knowledge of Asset and configuration management methodology and standards Ability to apply IT (Network Infrastructure, Applications, Systems, Security) principles, standards, methodologies and good practices in the assessment of asset and configuration management risk and controls. Knowledge and skills in Audit methodology and standards Good communication and facilitation skills Displays reliability, dependability and perseverance Provides guidance to the team on Asset and Configuration management process Strategic Mindset Make Your Passion Part of Your Profession.
