Job Summary:The Associate is responsible for the daily and tactical management of information and communication technology (ICT) assets, both hardware and software, as well as the ICT-related contracts, within the organization. The role will develop, implement, assess and recommend framework, policies, guidelines, process and procedures for asset and contract management.General Responsibilities:
Formulates, recommends and maintains the framework, policies, guidelines, process and procedures for ICT asset and contract management aligned with corporate procurement policies.
Creates, implements and leads programs and projects for ICT asset and contract management.
Monitors all the ICT assets throughout the enterprise utilizing tools to manage all assets within the organization.
Assess and recommend procurement strategies to leverage ICT investments both on assets and contracts.
Tracks acquisition, procurement, inventory, maintenance, retirement and disposal of ICT assets as performed by product/asset owners.
Monitors all software licenses and analyzes entitlements, usage and costs and establishes controls for compliance and optimization.
Analyzes IT asset management life cycles, ICT asset utilization and valuations reports
Develops asset optimization plans
Formulates and recommends ICT resource strategies and directions
Qualifications
Graduate of any related 4-year or 5-year degree courses: Computer Science, Engineering, Management
At least 2 years of working experience in ICT field
Experience in evaluating or implementing asset management tools or software.
Experience in scoping, planning and managing complex and concurrent technical activities supported by a strong understanding of IT project management; demonstrated ability to manage scope, timeline, and budget a plus.
Experience with business requirements gathering and analysis.
Experience in developing business cases and negotiating with vendors.
Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills with experience communicating complex, technical concepts to all levels.
