About the role:
The Admin Associate supports the International Move Consultant (IMC). The Admin Associate is responsible for administrative duties, communication with SIRVA's suppliers, and other assigned duties, on all files in an IMC's caseload. The Admin Associate has minimal contact with clients and relocating employees, but extensive contact with service providers and internal resources. The Admin Associate must have experience working in a fast-paced office environment and meeting deadlines associated with multiple tasks. The Admin Associate must be able to gain an understanding of all aspects of clients' international policy and programs as well as a general understanding of all international services.
Some day-to-day duties included, but is limited to:
· Open files, research/select/place referrals with appropriate suppliers.
· Pro-active management of and communications to suppliers for updates and required information as necessary.
· Responsible for updating system data with information provided by suppliers, IMC, clients, and directly from the assignees.
· Answer phones, provide back-up to Move Managers and other Admin Associates, and manage daily mail and email requests and other correspondence.
· Other responsibilities as necessary to support Move Manager, client-specific tasks, and other customer demands.
The ideal candidate will ideally have the following skill set to succeed in this position:
1. Minimum 1 year of direct relocation experience is preferred, or at least 3 years of related customer service experience
2. Previous international or intercultural experience
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Secondary language skills are a plus
4. Proficient in MS Office programs
5. Must be detail-oriented
6. Excellent communication skills
7. Ability to work successfully in a team environment
8. Must be able to manage deadlines and multi-task in a fast-paced office environment
