What does Slide Genius do?
Slidegenius is the premier global Presentation Design Agency with over 100+ employees. Our team of designers provides presentation design solutions to over 3,000 clients including Adidas, Reebok, Facebook, Blizzard, Delta Airlines, NASCAR, JP Morgan, and many more. We work with clients both big and small, providing us with new and exciting projects every day. In addition to PowerPoint, we offer a wide array of print services.
What the heck is an Art Director, Multimedia?
Art Directors at SlideGenius are responsible for guiding execution on project requests as well as leading a team of Presentation Designers. They have phenomenal attention to detail and a love for design principles. Their expertise is in design overall, but their experience in designing presentations in PowerPoint is unmatched. They guide not only designers but our clients toward the most ideal output for their use case. The role acts as an interface between project management and the design team, making sure we have everything we need from the client in order to execute their request effectively. Art Directors report to one of our Creative Directors, of whom they rely on for overall client strategy.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Communicate with clients directly and indirectly as a creative lead.
Brainstorm, suggest, critique, and demonstrate design and layout concepts that adhere to SlideGenius design standards and client expectations.
Explain client feedback and edits accurately and completely.
Comply with the client and/or internal branding guidelines.
Translate client instructions into design direction.
Proof and approve deliverables to be sent to clients.
Assist in discovery tasks such as quotes, calls, conversations, etc...
Guide and mentor designers.
Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Update internal time and project management software accurately.
Collaborate with team members.
Meet KPI goals.
Actively participate in daily scrum.
Monitor project workload, schedule, and status in real-time.

What kind of projects would I be working on?
Our client base ranges anywhere from mom-and-pop shops to Fortune 500 companies. You will have the opportunity to work on them all and if a designer catches wind of a specific project that they want to be a part of, we make sure that they are involved!

Required Skills/Abilities:
Must be willing to work in graveyard shift and may be transitioned to any shift
Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite (mainly Illustrator and Photoshop).
Extensive experience working with Microsoft PowerPoint.
Exceptional understanding of basic design principles.
Experience producing a variety of collateral for various audiences and industries.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Experience in effectively managing projects.
Experience in effectively managing a team.
Must have excellent interpersonal skills.
Must have excellent customer service skills.
Experience delegating, art directing, and providing feedback to other designers.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent, related to Graphic Design.
3-5 years of graphic design experience.
Minimum 2 years experience designing presentations in PowerPoint.
Experience leading multiple projects and/or teams of designers.
