Job Summary
 
The Area Supervisor - F&B is responsible for overseeing multiple café locations within an assigned area, ensuring operational excellence, brand consistency, financial performance, and exceptional guest experience. This role supports store managers and teams in achieving sales targets while maintaining authentic Japanese Matcha standards and service quality.
Key Responsibilities
1. Multi-Store Operations Management
Supervise daily operations across assigned outlets.
Ensure consistent implementation of SOPs, service standards, and brand guidelines.
Conduct regular store visits and operational audits.
Monitor cleanliness, hygiene, and visual merchandising standards.
Support new store openings and operational setup when required.
2. Sales & Financial Performance
Drive area sales growth and profitability.
Analyze sales reports, KPIs, labor costs, and expenses.
Implement action plans to improve underperforming outlets.
Oversee inventory management and cost control measures across locations.
3. Leadership & Team Development
Coach and support Store Managers and Assistant Managers.
Assist in recruitment, onboarding, and training of new staff.
Conduct performance reviews and identify training needs.
Foster a strong service culture aligned with brand values.
4. Customer Experience & Brand Representation
Ensure all outlets deliver a premium and authentic matcha experience.
Handle escalated customer concerns effectively.
Promote seasonal campaigns and new product launches consistently.
Uphold brand image, storytelling, and sustainability values.
5. Compliance & Quality Assurance
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company policies.
Conduct routine quality checks on matcha and other beverage preparation and food handling.
Maintain operational documentation and reporting standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field.
2-4 years of F&B experience, with at least 2 years in multi-unit supervision.
Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
Experience managing KPIs, budgets, and cost control.
Ability to travel between outlets within the assigned area.
Flexible to work weekends and peak business periods
