As an Area Sales Manager, you will ensure flawless execution of the General Trade strategies in order to achieve goals and objectives in terms of sales achievement, brand distribution and overall effective General Trade business management. In this role, you function as a driven sales professional to grow sales and manage business activities within a defined geographical area. Key to this position is the ability to drive sales, leverage customer relationships and impact a variety of customer segments. This includes leading and providing strategic direction to the distributor team to ensure achievement of targeted sales volumes and distribution targets ensuring long-term distributor success . You will understand and leverage roles and responsibilities of the cross functional team to drive sales results. Ideal candidates will have a strong desire to win while helping our GSK partners. Key responsibilities: Manage general trade team in the preparation and execution of annual business plans / promotion plan / sales forecast / and customer information Analyze, monitor and develop strategies to enhance distribution reach Ensure attainment of revenue and distribution targets Develop execution standards for distributor strategies in alignment to category and brand goals. Interfaces with Marketing Team to translate the Category plans into win-win customer strategies Role Requirements: Amenable to work in Northern Mindanao areas Relevant years of experience in managing FMCG/FMCH sales Successful track record in general trade management in a consumer setting or similar company Strong leadership skills to effectively manage GSK and distributor sales force and third-party agencies Good financial understanding of profit & loss and sales forecast Ability to influence and make good decisions At GSK, we value diversity and treat all candidates equally.
