Reports To: Partner, Partner Advisor Produce accurate and detailed architectural drawings using AutoCAD, Microstation, or similar software, following company standards and guidelines Interpret architectural plans, elevations, sections, and details, ensuring a thorough understanding of project requirements Accurately calculate measurements and dimensions from architectural drawings and specifications Utilize company-provided software to generate cost estimates for projects, considering materials, labor, and other relevant factors Work closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure that drawings and estimates align with project goals and specifications Review and cross-check drawings and estimates for accuracy and compliance with applicable codes and regulations, including Title 24 requirements Maintain organized and up-to-date project documentation, including revisions, markups, and as-built drawings Utilize AutoCAD for drafting tasks and be open to using other software such as Bluebeam and MicroStation as needed. General knowledge of Bluebeam Revu, Google G-Suite (Drive, Sheets, Documents, etc.) Stay updated on industry trends, software advancements, and regulatory changes related to architectural drafting and Title 24 projects High school diploma or equivalent an associate degree or technical certification in architectural drafting is a plus Proven experience as an architectural draftsman, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar drafting software is mandatory Familiarity with Title 24 regulations in California is highly desirable Experience with Bluebeam and MicroStation is a plus Strong mathematical and analytical skills for computing measurements and generating estimates Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate and high-quality work Effective communication and collaboration skills Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team Strong time management and organizational skills Willingness to adapt to new software and technologies as required.
