SUMMARY OF ROLE
SunPower is seeking for an Accounts Receivable Team Lead. This position will be mainly responsible for managing AR analyst and other pertinent functions in Accounts Receivable Team. He/She will directly report to B2B AR Operations Manager.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead AR analysts on their day to day collection activities.
Maintain cross-functional relationships with Sales, Sales Operations, Customer Service and other pertinent departments to ensure accuracy of business transactions.
Point of contact for any business escalations or issues.
Manage and ensure accuracy of weekly AR/AP offsets.
Review and recommend bad debt reserve calculation based on the status of account and aged receivables.
Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) controls with regards to AR collections.
Manage endorsement of delinquent dealer accounts to 3rd party collection agency and monitor their performance.
Conducts regular coaching session with direct reports.
Lead weekly AR reporting with North America Stakeholders.
Ensure timely and accurate billing of interest charges
Drive process improvement and optimization in Accounts Receivable processes
Perform User Acceptance training on new system releases
Manage and ensure accuracy of AR reports
Coordinate with other O2C department on achieving strategies directed Management team
Perform other responsibilities as assigned by AR Manager.
RELATED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Minimum requirements
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree on Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
At least 3 years of working experience in managing a team.
Able to assist and support his/her direct reports on any escalations.
Highly effective in both oral and written communication
Flexible and adaptable to a fast-paced working environment.
Able to work under pressure and with minimum supervision
Must have attention to detail and able to provide accurate reports
Able to grasp technical terminologies, process and procedure
Must be passionate and committed to drive his/her team to success and achievement of Key results
Must be a team player
OTHER PERTINENT INFORMATION
Location: ROHQ
This is an FTE position
Candidate must be willing to work in Laguna Technopark, Binan Laguna
Candidate must be legally entitled to work and reside in the Philippines
Candidate must be willing to render overtime as business requires
Candidate must be willing to render overtime as business requires (weekends, US/PH holidays)
Candidate must be flexible to work on a night shift schedule supporting North America region
