JOB DESCRIPTION
Appointment setters are responsible for cold calling prospective clients which are mostly C-level employees. They are able to gauge prospective clients' interest level and proceed as necessary. They are very aggressive when it comes to their telesales goals; being able to generate their own sales leads.
Appointment setters also use email to contact clients, both current and prospective, to entertain any questions or reschedule meetings as needed.
Appointment setters keep accurate records of each conversation with prospective clients about the products and services being offered whether clients are interested or not.
Other duties as assigned.
Position requirements:
Proven experience of at least 1-3 years as an appointment setter, sales representative, or similar will be advantageous.
Must have a background in selling technical products.
Top-notch verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
Outstanding listening skills and attention to detail.
Has excellent phone etiquette and is computer literate.
Professional and has a courteous disposition.
Must be persuasive and results-oriented.
Must have an aggressive drive to succeed.
