A customer service representative in a hotel reservations account is responsible for:
• Answering customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat regarding room reservations and hotel services.
• Assisting customers with the booking process, including room rates, availability, and special requests.
• Upselling rooms and hotel services to maximize revenue.
• Resolving customer complaints and providing solutions to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
• Providing information on hotel policies, local attractions, and transportation options.
• Staying updated on new hotel products and services to effectively promote them to customers.
• Working collaboratively with other departments to ensure customer needs are met.
Applicants must be/have:
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree is a plus
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with customers
• Patience, empathy and the ability to handle difficult customers
• Have good customer service, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills
• Have excellent English communication skills
• Have knowledge on computers
• Are willing to work in shifting schedule
Requirements
Minimum education level: Senior high school
Language(s): English
