Duties of a Quality Control Inspector
-Reading blueprints and specifications
-Monitoring operations to ensure that they meet production standards
-Recommending adjustments to the assembly or production process
-Inspecting, testing, or measuring materials or products being produced
-Measuring products with rulers, calipers, gauges, or micrometers
-Operating electronic inspection equipment and software
-Accepting or rejecting finished items
-Removing all products and materials that fail to meet specifications
-Reporting inspection and testing data such as weights, temperatures, grades, moisture content, and quantities inspected
Rephrased:
-Reading specifications and blueprints
-Checking activities for compliance with production requirements
-Advising modifications to the manufacturing or assembly process
-Checking, analyzing, or measuring raw ingredients or finished goods
-Using rulers, calipers, gauges, or micrometers to measure products
-Utilizing software and equipment for electronic examination
-Approving or disapproving final goods
-Removing any materials or goods that don't match requirements
-Reporting test and inspection results, including weights, temperatures, grades, and amounts inspected.
Skills:
-Practical experience in test execution
-Strong ability to analyze, research and comment on test plans proposed by Vendors
-Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with key partners
Some Qualifications we're looking for:
-18 yrs old and above
-At least 5 yrs experience
-College Graduate
-Experience with quality management systems (QMS).
-Math skills - data reporting, measuring, calibrating, and calculating specifications are just some of the many skills you should possess.
-Critical thinking skills, to help work through customer problems and production issues, as well as develop strategies for improving product quality.
