You will be responsible for flavors applications in products under relevant categories or market segments which include Beverages, Sweets and Savory. This is a strong resource to the Technical Services Manager with regard to short and long-range plans, strategies and tactics.You will thrive being part of a team of motivated people, be collaborative, however also comfortable working alone. Customer, quality and entrepreneurial focus are essential in this position.This opportunity is 100% office-based at our Bi単an City in Laguna, Philippines office.What you will do:
Innovation, development and preparation of prototypes for presentation to key customers
Work on new product ideas and customer requirements using our portfolio of flavours, colours and natural extracts in a variety of food segments
Pre-qualify new raw materials and ensure regulatory compliance required for product development.
Establish specifications data sheet for new products and keep in trend for market launches.
Represent the company and attending various trade organizations, i.e. Philippine Association of Food Technologists, Philippine Food Chamber, etc.
Support the sales team and join customer presentations and innovation work shops
Perform other duties that may be assigned to or required for the job.
What you will bring:
Bachelor's degree in food science or equivalent education.
At least 5-7 years of experience or a Master's degree and relevant experience. 10 years of industry experience and management experience preferred.
Expertise and wide range of experience in product formulation, processes, and raw materials.
Proven track record of New Business wins.
Analytical instrument knowledge; product, processing and testing knowledge, including the ability to understand and explain results.
Willingness to travel up to 10%, including short notice travel
