The Position
Summary
The Application Specialist provides after-sales support to customers of Roche Diagnostics Products. The Application Specialist will provide troubleshooting support, technical product information, operation instructions, product application information, operator training and other application-related activities thru phone, email or site visit and documents all service activity in CRM tool, provides support to the sales team regarding application related request/requirements of RD customers.
Responsibilities
Provide support to customers when any application/technical issues arise in a prompt and timely matter thru phone, e-mail or on-site visits.
Provide product demonstrations and training to our customers during pre-installation, installation, validation and provide support in operational phase of the instruments.
Support the team on installations process (Install/set-up test application, quality control, calibration, instrument parameter; perform precision testing, validation and other requirements during the installation.
Work closely with the Customer support team to resolve issues quickly and accurately and perform required instrument application/parameter update.
Maintain and develop training materials for the customers.
Perform correlation studies and validations in coordination with the customer if required.
Proactive visit with assigned customer, communicate support/quality notification to prevent potential issues.
Provide application support to our internal team as required.
Record/document application activity and customer visits in CRM tool.
Participate in a rotating On-Call Roster to cover the out of hours' service requirements from Monday to Friday, Weekend and Holiday.
Administrative duties, such as request of (reagents, controls, calibrator and other application related materials) submission of expense report, etc.
Who you are
Graduate of BS Medical Technology
Prior experience working in a laboratory environment with good technical and troubleshooting skills of laboratory instruments.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills (including presentation skills) and are experienced in managing internal and external customers
Available for standby work (after hours) occasionally.
You are able to perform your duties with minimum supervision
You are flexible, mobile and willing to travel/to be assign anywhere in the Philippines if needed.
